Please try resetting the Quooker by switching it off at the Q-shaped button on top of the tank and unplugging it from the socket. With older systems, the switch may also be located at the back of the tank cover. Wait 30 seconds and then plug it back in and press the Q-shaped button on top of the tank to switch it back on. The light on the tap should now come on solid. Wait about 10-15 minutes until the light goes off - the water will now be up to temperature again and ready for use. If the light is still flashing, please try a long reset; switch the Quooker off on top of the tank and then open the tap and run the water for about 3 minutes to replenish all the water in the tank. Leave the tank switched off for another 15 minutes, then switch it on again. The light on the tap should come on solid and after about 10-15 minutes the light should go off and the tap will be ready for use again. If the flashing continues or occurs frequently, please contact our service department via email@example.com or +971 (0)56 749 9200.
Our Fusion tap has been fitted with a double-push-and-turn handle for extra safety. To dispense boiling water, press the crenulated handle down twice and then turn it. If this does not work, please make sure that there is power to the socket, the tank is switched on and that the LED cable coming from the tap has been plugged into the back of the tank and is dry. The light on the tank should be fading in and out and the light on the tap should be off or on solid. It will also come on when you touch it.
If the light on the tap is flashing, please refer to the flashing light section in our FAQ to reset the system.
Should you require any further assistance, please contact our service team via firstname.lastname@example.org or 800-Quooker(7866537).
Check the lights on the tap and tank. If the light on the tap is flashing, please refer to the corresponding question in our FAQ's. If the lights are off, please press the Q-shaped button on top of the tank to switch the Quooker back on. If the lights still do not come on, please unplug the Quooker and check the socket by plugging in another appliance. If the socket is working, please change the fuse in the plug, then plug it back in again and try pressing the Q-shaped button on top of the tank again. If this does not resolve the issue, please contact our service department email@example.com or on 800-Quooker(7866537).
It is normal for the inlet combination to release drips of water while the tank is heating water. This is expansion water released from the tank to regulate the pressure inside the tank. If the Quooker has been fitted recently and the valve is releasing a continuous flow or spurts of water, please check the water pressure. The ideal incoming water pressure for the Quooker is 2-3 bar. If the pressure is too high, the valve will release more water in order to keep the pressure inside the tank at a safe level. A pressure reducing valve can be fitted to reduce the pressure to 2-3 bar.
If the Quooker has been fitted for a while and the valve has recently started running continuously (rather than dripping), some debris or scale may be caught inside the valve. Please try flushing the valve through as follows: Switch off the tank by pressing the Q-shaped button on top. Open the tap and run the water until it is cold. Then put a container under the valve and then turn the large red knob (10 bar valve) or large grey knob (8 bar valve) anti-clockwise until you hear a click and water will be released from the valve. Repeat this several times, then switch the Quooker back on.
If this does not resolve the issue, please contact our service department via firstname.lastname@example.org or 800-Quooker(7866537). Please keep your Quooker's serial number ready - it is located at the side of the tank near the top.
With the desalinated fresh water suitable for human consumption we have here in UAE, the internal HiTAC® water filter will usually require changing every 3-5 years. The filter can be ordered from our service department and comes with step-by-step instructions to allow you to change it yourself. If you prefer, we can also arrange for one of our engineers to change the filter for you.
The Q-shaped button on top of the tank is the on/off-switch. Gently press the foot of the Q to switch the Quooker on or off. When the tank is on, the light on top of the tank will be fading in and out. The light on the tap will come on when you first switch the tank on and after you have tapped water; this is to indicate that the tank is heating the water.
When on standby, a Quooker costs 5 fils per day.
One of the Quooker tap’s unique features is the steaming water. The water is delivered in a fine spray rather than a solid jet, preventing burns.
